Our work has been recognised by The Guardian and The Observer who chose us for their Charity Appeal in 2022. In 2022-23 Citizens Advice Sefton helped 6,044 people with over 21,791 problems. Over 70% of these problems related to debt and benefits.
This role requires working as a main point of contact for clients and assessing their advice and support needs. You’ll need excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients to develop a professional relationship that enables them to fully engage with the advice process. Training is provided in-house with support from our Training Officer.
You will have experience of working one to one with clients/customers, face to face or by telephone and an understanding of the issues involved in interviewing and working with clients, and in particular vulnerable people.
Contract type: Fixed term 31.03.24 – extension subject to continuation funding
Annual Leave: 28 days excl Bank Holidays (part time pro-rata)
Pension: 7% Employer contribution
Location: Based in Sefton and advice outreach settings.
Office hours: Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm (part-time days and times to be agreed)
