About us

Citizens Advice Sefton is a registered charity (1100450) and company limited by guarentee (4794809).  We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.  The first Citizens Advice in the borough opened in 1939 in Bootle.  Citizens Advice Sefton emerged as a unified Citizens Advice service across the borough in 2008.  

Citizens Advice Sefton is often referred to as Sefton CAB or CAS.  Increasingly it is referred to by the Citizens Advice network as LCA or Local Citizens Advice.
